Start your first stream

  1. 01

    Create a channel

In the org sidebar under Channels click Create new channel. In the dialog you set the title and choose whether the channel is public or private.

    Tip

Private? Enable PIN protection and assign a 6-digit code. Listeners need to enter it before they can listen.
  2. 02

    Open the studio

Open the channel and start the studio. Your browser asks for microphone permission once. Confirm. Echo cancellation and noise suppression are on by default. The level meter appears as soon as you speak.

  3. 03

    Check the microphone

    • In the microphone setup pick your input device from the dropdown.
    • Speak briefly: the meter should hit the middle range, not stay pinned at the top.
    • USB microphone connected after opening the studio? Click the dropdown once to refresh the device list.
  4. 04

    Start the stream

Click Start stream. The broadcast initializes. Listeners on the public page hear you in real time from that moment. The header shows a pulsing LIVE indicator and the current listener count.

  5. 05

    End the broadcast

Click End. Listeners are unplugged and see the channel's waiting area again. The session then appears in your stats under Statistics.
